Stride & Ride Kids Duathlon is a ton of fun, and great exercise to support a wonderful cause — The NY Regional office of The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
On September 15, 2013 kids get a morning of good old-fashioned fun while helping raise awareness and support for children at risk right here in our community.
What exactly is the Stride & Ride Kids Duathlon?
Sponsored by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children/New York Region (NCMEC/NY), The Stride and Ride Kids Duathlon is exactly like it sounds — a running and peddling competition. Depending on the children’s ages, they will ride their bikes 1.5 to 5 miles and then immediately transition into running, or walking, for .5 to 2 miles. While every participant is a winner, the first, second and third place contestants will receive prizes.
Please join us for a morning of healthy fun to help raise awareness and support for The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
